A Napa Dream Wedding

Rich and I met in Napa in 2007 and wine became our common bond. When we got engaged a year and a half later we thought it was only fitting to go back to Napa for our wedding.

For us, the ideal location happened to be where we met, the Meritage Spa and Resort.

An idyllic setting, in the heart of Napa, the Meritage had a lovely, small chapel - Our Lady of the Grapes, perfect for our group of 50 friends and family members. The property also has a stunning wine cave that provided the romantic allure we were looking for for our dinner and dance reception. The vineyards above the cave proved to be a stunning backdrop for our photos.

A special part of our day was a wine ceremony in place of the traditional candle lighting during the service. We each poured wine, from two small decanters, into one glass. We then each took turns taking a sip of wine to signify being joined as one.

We could not have asked for a more perfect setting and a day filled with romance and memories to last a lifetime.
